<p>Karen Petersen is a stay-at-home mom to two kids who decided, somewhat on a whim, to cook 365 different slow cooker recipes over the course of one year.  She is the author of the blog, <a href="http://www.365daysofcrockpot.com/">365 Days of Slow Cooking</a> and she also blogs for <a href="http://utah.todaysmama.com">Today&#8217;s Mama</a> about slow cooking.</p>
<p>At the completion of her slow cooking goal, she authored a cookbook that has over 250 of the best recipes of her year-long quest.  She enjoys running, anything chocolate, reading and bargain-hunting.</p>

Frozen chicken and a bottle of BBQ sauce can deliver a mouthwatering meal in less than 15 minutes—tender, tasty and juicy. Have a rich and creamy risotto in less than 10 minutes. Heck, you can even make a CHEESECAKE in a pressure cooker! WOW!</p>
<p>Today’s pressure cookers are nothing like your grandmother’s. They are safe and easy to use and cut cooking time down even less than your microwave does while still retaining nutrition, tenderness, and taste!</p>
<p>Pressure cookers also preserve fuel, electricity, water, and seasoning and they are ideal to use everyday as well as in an emergency!</p>
<p>In this presentation, you will learn how to use your existing pressure cooker properly.<br />
You will learn how to properly select a pressure cooker for purchase.<br />
You will sample at least three great recipes made right in front of you.<br />

How long can I store water? What kinds of containers should I store it in? How much water do I need? Do I need to put anything else in my water storage containers? Are there ways to make my stored water stretch further? What are realistic scenarios in which I would NEED to use stored water?</p>
<p>If you feel like you’re drowning in more questions than you have answers, you won’t want to miss this education experience. Water is the most often overlooked and underestimated area of preparedness and yet those who ignore it do so at their own peril. The Preparedness Pro will dispel the water myths and make you soundly aware of what key strategies you need to know about water storage, conservation, and home treatment.</p>
