Mugging! Frosted Chocolate Cake


  • 1–4 ounce envelope or 2/3 cupShirley J Mugging! Chocolate Brownie Cake or Chocolate Truffle Cake
  • 5 tablespoons water
  • ½ cup semisweet chocolate chips*


Mix and bake cake according to package directions, reserving chocolate chips. As soon as cake is removed from microwave immediately place chips on top of hot cake. Allow cake to sit for 3-4 minutes until chocolate chips glisten. Smooth chips using back of spoon to frost cake.
*May use peanut butter chips, mint chips or other flavors of baking chips as desired.
