Sausage Gravy with Biscuits


  • 1 pound country style sausage
  • 1½ cups Shirley J Universal Cream Soup & Sauce Mix
  • 6 cups water


In skillet, brown and crumble sausage over medium heat; discard excess drippings from cooked meat. Add water and sauce mix to the browned meat in the skillet, stir. Bring mixture to slow boil and simmer five minutes. Serve gravy over cooked biscuits, toast, rice, whipped or baked potatoes. For thicker gravy, decrease water to 5 cups.
